Ø      Technical Management: Network Implementation and configuration of Evolved Packet Core (EPC) and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Network components: Intrusion Protection System (IPS HP 2600NX, 2500N TippingPoint), Abort Session Request (Cisco 5500, 5000 ASR), Service Delivery Gateway (SDG Juniper MX960), Domain Name Server (DNS Oracle Sun Netra X3-2 server), Multi Service Proxy (MSP HP7000). Maintained optimum performance to ensure quality customer service and minimized outages utilizing Switch, Gui and CLI commands and troubleshooting procedures for the Nokia and Siemens for GSM and UMTS, Nortel Media Gateway R4, Cisco, Juniper, VoLTE, EPC and IMS IP network components. Established OAM and Bearer port connectivity, configured Nexus 7600 for OAM, COR, DMZ and Zone DST connectivity. Ø      Project management: Managed various levels of project management to include red, yellow, green project status updates, six sigma project flow analysis and reconstruction and implemented operational changes based on analysis and locating areas of opportunity within cross functional groups. Managed operating budget from negotiation with vendors to analysis of spending. Managed install and configuration of all Carrier Application Zones, Support Zones, and NEO Zone preproduction connectivity to the MIPE (Mobility Infrastructure Provided Edge) and eventually to AT&T’s CBB(Common Back Bone).

Performed scheduling, payroll, career development, quarterly evaluations, technical training and general support functions. Ø      Network Outage Management: Worked exclusively with executive team and provided 24x7 outage ownership and resolution expertise for all Service Interruption Reports (SIR) network events. Notified executive team within 30 minutes of a severe outage and reacted quickly in organizing and driving restoration teams in response to network service interruptions and utilized all identified resources to drive outage to closure. Dispatched generators when needed and managed major cell site and switch outages during Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Ivan and many other natural disaster occurrences.

Area Manager – Global Network Implementations Operations (MSO)

Responsible for directing, planning and apportioning the work of employees including interviewing, selecting and training, recommending the setting and adjusting of rates of pay and hours of work, coaching and assessing performance, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policy. Responsible for the management of network subject matter experts and NI (Network Interface) teams who support the internal client organizations on both an immediate emergency demand and long term proactive basis. Specifically responsible for the installation of core network elements for the Calico/NEO Zone infrastructures.

Ø      Design, Implement and Maintain Enterprise routing and switching: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF,MPLS VPN, multicast etc. on Cisco 5500, Nexus 7k/5k/2k, Juniper MX960 Service Delivery Gateway (SDG)

Ø      Monitor appropriate systems, analyzes data as necessary, and directs higher-level force to load and staffing activities to meet customer request and budget commitments.

Ø      Monitors and analyzes team performance levels necessary to identify skill gaps and direct activities to address performance deficiencies. Manage and facilitate NEO Zone, ASR, SDG, IXC, Probe, ANUE, OAM, CAZ firewall and many other NTC network component builds and configuration.

Responsible for all AT&T owned Towers regulatory and compliance. Oversee the regulation process for 3rd party co-locations on AT&T owned Towers requiring governmental approval, including filing necessary applications and handling all government interactions.
